About Us
Big Rooter Plumbing was started like most companies. On a very limited budget, the sale proceeds from my house in Colorado. It wasn't great, but enough to buy a used van that was reliable and didn't leak oil in client’s driveways. The desire had always been there to be my own boss yet I lacked the confidence and had the nagging fear of failing. I watched and learned from other business owners and plumbing contractors in the area after moving from Colorado over ten years ago.
I observed how some took and never gave back. I observed how others gave of their time, money, and skills. I wanted to be one of the latter. So it all began, with little jobs for family and friends and no idea what would come of this little operation located in my parent’s garage. My brother Jonathan came in to help, along with Julie as we moved to a little location on Main Street in Monroe Washington with a small storage unit close by.
We worked many tireless hours hoping to help people get the quality work they deserved. Today we are located in a 1800 square foot shop in the industrial area of Monroe. Thanks to all of those who have helped make this "pipe dream" a reality.
